Recipient of Purple's "Invent a Better Way" and "Make It Amazing" monthly awards
Each month, the Purple customer care department of around 200 gives out six awards, named for each of the company values. I received one of these six awards, which began to be awarded in summer 2020, in two of my months working there.

Admitted to BYU's Piano Performance Program
Though I have since changed my major to Public Relations, I was 1 of 7 out of about 300 applicants accepted to BYU's Piano Performance program in 2020, which was my third year auditioning for the program - a testament to my "stick-to-it-iveness."

2 Minute 800m Runner
I include this as evidence of my ability to set ambitious goals and chase them down. In 2013, I set the goal of becoming a sub 2 minute 800m runner. While I fell short by less than half a second, I am still proud of what I was able to achieve when I worked harder than I ever had.

Texas Boys State County Commissioner Chair
In a class of 603 total, I was 1 of out of 10 high school juniors nominated by faculty to attend the American Legion run summer camp. While there, I was elected by my peers to lead county council meetings over about 60 individuals. (Perhaps you've seen the documentary on Apple TV?)
